Coast Hotels and TELUS – Growing a Greener Future Together

At Coast Hotels, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We're pleased to announce our new partnership with TELUS Environmental Solutions, a collaboration that will further our eco-efforts and make a meaningful impact in the communities where we live, work, and travel

As part of this partnership, we’ll be planting 30,000 trees and kelp seedlings across three land-based reforestation projects and an ocean-based restoration initiative. These efforts are aimed at restoring ecosystems, protecting wildlife, and combating climate change—reinforcing our commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.

Additionally, Coast Rewards Members will have the opportunity to contribute to these reforestation projects by redeeming their Points. Starting at just 125 Points, Members can plant a one tree or kelp seedling, and up to ten tree or kelp seedlings for 750 Points per transaction, Coast Rewards Members can help us create a refreshingly green ^TM future with every stay.

How Coast Hotels Ambassadors Can Support This Initiative

As Ambassadors, we play a key role in sharing our sustainability efforts with guests. Here’s how you can help:

• General Managers should have a clear understanding of our reforestation partnership so they can effectively communicate it to both our Ambassadors and guests.
• Encourage guests to redeem points to support reforestation.
• Highlight our sustainability efforts when guests ask about Coast Hotels' eco-commitments.
• Lead by example—log in and redeem your own points to contribute to the initiative!

In addition, For the hotels that exceed their Coast Rewards enrollment target by the highest percentage, we will plant three trees on behalf of each Ambassador at those properties. This is our way of recognizing the teams that go above and beyond in growing our loyalty program while also growing a healthier planet.
